India: men sentenced to death for 1981 massacre

A recent article has reported that three men have been sentenced to death in India for the 1981 murder of 24 people. It is reported that men were part of a gang of bandits who shot the victims, however the men have insisted they are innocent.

The special court has said that the killings fell into the “rarest of the rare” and this justifies capital punishment in India.
