Strengthening Australia’s anti-death penalty advocacy

The Human Rights Subcommittee of the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade of the Parliament of Australia concluded their inquiry into Australia’s efforts to advocate for the worldwide abolition of the death penalty and released their report. The Julian Wagner Memorial Fund together with the Capital Punishment Justice Project, Eleos Justice, Australians Against Capital Punishment and the Anti-Death Penalty Asia Network made a submission to the inquiry. You can read our joint submission here.
