U.S Supreme Court grant relief in Oklahoma

Brenda Andrew who was sentenced to death in Oklahoma, has been granted relief by the U.S Supreme Court. Prosecutors had introduced evidence about her sex life and her failings as a wife and mother, which further led to her sentence to death. The Court ordered the federal appeals court to assess whether this irrelevant evidence about her demeanour as a woman deprived her of a fundamentally fair trial.
