In one week, Singapore executes three people

This week, Singapore has executed three people for drug trafficking offences.

Mohamed Shalleh Adul Latiff was executed on 3 August, less than a week after Singapore executed Saridewi Binte Djamani and Mohd Aziz bin Hussain.

Despite worldwide condemnation, Singapore continues to insist that the death penalty is an effective deterrent for drug trafficking.
