Melissa Lucio is facing an April 27 execution date, and is making a last-ditch attempt to save her life. In a court motion filed Tuesday, her attorneys argue that she was denied a fair trial and that there is “ample reason to believe” she was wrongfully convicted.

Anyone who watches the film will come away with significant doubts about Melissa’s guilt.
