UN condemns Iran's execution of a 17 year old

On Friday, 17 year old Hamidreza Azari was executed in Iran. This is the first reported execution of a child offender in Iran this year. On the same day, 22 year old Milad Zohrevand was also executed. The UN Human Rights Office reminded Tehran of its obligations under international conventions with respect to individuals under the age of 18.
